Creating a coherent brand

When we first met the team at Sight & Sound, there were two separate companies. There was a desire to bring the two companies closer together to create one coherent brand, and to highlight it as an independent provider that really focuses on excellent customer service. With some big competitors at play, it was key to focus on clear USPs that would position Sight & Sound as the number one option.

Having been trading in Bognor Regis for close to 20+ years, the brand was already established and so we worked sensitively to ensure a seamless transition for existing customers. With the ambition to attract a newer, younger audience, our integrated strategy positioned the new brand as fresh and modern, backed by years of professional experience.

Technical
foundations

During development of the new website, we supported with the CMS set up and optimisation to ensure the technical foundations were in place for long-term SEO success. Redirect mapping was completed to minimise loss in SEO visibility and traffic, and robust tracking was set up via Google Tag Manager. After a final thorough check, the site launched, Google was notified of the new URLs and Google Analytics goals were reconfigured. The store’s branded profiles on social media, Google My Business and Bing Places were updated to ensure a seamless online customer experience.

An integrated marketing strategy

Following the launch, ongoing SEO activity has included local citation work, keyword optimisation, and a search-driven content strategy to aid online visibility. Over a six-month period, we saw a 600% increase in appointments booked online, and a 482% increase in conversions from organic search queries. A combined paid and organic search strategy has positioned Sight & Sound as the leading provider.
